The TruTac® force displacement test station was designed for accurate, repeatable force tests on various types of switches and switch assemblies. It is a stand alone unit that tests and displays measurement readings to the user via its incorporated LCD panel, or in tandem with a PC. The TruTac® is used to test metal domes, polydomes, membrane switches, and most other switches, depending on tester configuration. Specifically, it tests for trip force, return force, standing free height, displacement (travel), tactile ratio, tactile slope, switch resistance and other ASTM measurements.

The TruTac® test station comes standard with the test unit (10”H x 11”W x 11”D), a vented flat tooling plate (.25”H x 1.13”W x 2.44”D), user software, standard actuator tip (.050”), resistance test cable, and ethernet cable (10ft.). Custom configurations can be accommodated upon request.
