CA Proposition 65

Snaptron Inc. provides customers with tactile dome switch products manufactured from 300 series stainless steel. Tactile domes may or may not be plated with nickel, gold, silver or tin; and may or may not be placed on an adhesive polyester carrier material.

Nickel (CAS 7440‐02‐0) is a substance included on the California Prop 65 list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. All plated domes contain nickel as either a strike (base) layer to facilitate adhesion of other plated metals, or as a final plate layer. In addition, stainless steel contains 6% ‐ 8% alloyed nickel.

As Snaptron does not control the end use application of our tactile dome products, we make no claims as to the potential for human contact and/or exposure to substances of concern. Snaptron makes this disclosure so that our customers may manage this risk appropriately.
