JOB TITLE: Applications Engineer
LOCATION: Windsor, CO 80550

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Sales
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Application Engineer will initially focus on electro-mechanical switch technologies. The position will provide technology expertise to our customers, sales teams and internally that will result in design wins for existing and new products.
Key Responsibilities:
• Influence customers’ new design and packaging needs
• Secure print position and work with the sales teams to uncover new opportunities
• Understand applications in target markets
• Answer technical questions
• Resolve technical objections
• Technical liaison between sales & manufacturing
• Deep product knowledge
• Provide customer information to the sales teams and marketing organizations for inclusion in product roadmaps
• Provide technical training to customers and sales personnel on new products and technology
• Provide feedback to Marketing, Manufacturing and Engineering about the competitive environment, market acceptance of devices, and identification of opportunities and features for new products/product areas
• Support evaluation and reference platforms for developing and newly released products
Education & Experience:
• BS in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering
• Demonstrated analytical and system troubleshooting skills
• Ability to present moderate to highly technical materials to diverse audiences
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
Additional Information:
• US passport required for international travel
• Based on our military customers, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hiring salary range TBD, depending on education and experience; medical plan after 1 month; company 401k retirement plan with matching after 1 year; paid holidays.
